  1. The file TODAY.SH is meant to be an addition to the TODAY series of files, and
  2. gives dates relating to Sherlock Holmes.

  4. Since most of the adventures written by Dr. Watson contain no specific
  5. dates, I have used the dates proposed by William Baring-Gould in his
  6. "Annotated Sherlock Holmes".  Such dates in the TODAY file appear with the
  7. letters (BG).
